Journey to Mussoorie: hill station in Utrakhand, the land of Gods!

We started our journey from Delhi Indira Gandhi international airport to Dehradun Jolly Grant Airport. We then took a bus from Dehradun train station to Mussoorie. It was a peak tourist season, most of the buses were crowded and there was no other option than standing! It was a new experience to travel the ghat section by standing. Hectic journey!

Once reached the Queen of hill station, I was rejuvenated by the scenic beauty of Mussoorie.

It was 6.0pm when we reached the Queen of Hill Stations-Mussorrie! Maggie Noodles and hot coffee is best combination to get rid of tiredness and is a pleasure thing to do! We headed to the hotel which was booked with Booking.com. Day was completed with the yummy dinner from Tibetan restaurant. The Mall road was very tiny and crowded but with good vibes!

Mussorie have lot to offer for a nature lover. Gun Hill, Mall Road, Camel Back Road, Shahid Smriti Sthal, The Mall, Mussoorie, Lal Tibba, Lake Mist, Kempty fall, and George Everest are major attractions in Mussoorie. We could experience the Monsoon during our visit and it presented the nature at its best. You will truly indulge in the tranquility of the mother nature.

If you visit Mussorrie don’t miss to have Cheese Omelet in famous Lovely omlette center, Mall Road. It’s a small shop which serves delicious omelets but this place is heavily crowded, worth the wait! Another important street food is MOMOs, I bet you cannot resist yourself from this yummy food. Local craft stores are the main attraction of Mall road which sells beautiful souvenirs. Do buy these items really beautiful and worth for money. Small hill station and lovely weather, wonderful experience to be in the lap of nature and I’m sure you will cherish these days for ever.

Visit this hill station from the land of gods, Utrakhand! At least once in your life time.

Happy Travelling!
